If you’re looking to explore Suffolk’s County Town, Ipswich, look no further than our Merchant House. Set moments from the historic Ipswich Waterfront and built in 1636, the Merchant House has been lovingly restored and now welcomes guests as a self-catering retreat.

The property sleeps up to 10 across five double bedrooms: three with ensuites and two on our second floor with a shared bathroom, the Merchant House offers flexibility. Choose to hire the entire or by the room, and enjoy full access to our dining room and kitchen.

Whether it's an overnight stay while working away from home, a weekend exploring all Ipswich and its surrounding areas have to offer, or a cosy retreat after celebrating a wedding or birthday at Isaacs, the Merchant House offers the perfect setting.

If you would like to hire out the Merchant House alongside a wedding, celebration or event you are hosting at Isaacs, please speak with our events team on 01473 284000 (option 3) or email events@isaaclord.org.

If you are not looking to host an event at Isaacs and would like to hire the house individually, please book through our holiday letting agency, Stay in Suffolk.
