Suffolk Day Big Weekender Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd June 2019
There’s not long to wait for the Suffolk Day Big Weekender and here at Isaacs we can’t wait.
We’ve got a great weekend lined up, starting with our special Suffolk Day menu, available all weekend from breakfast through to dinner. We will have our Briarbank ales available for just £3.00 a pint and of course, there will be live music from two great local bands. On Saturday 22nd we will be joined by Lucky No7, and on Sunday 23rd Chart Attack will be with us, both at 3:00pm.
Plus, we will be hosting another Suffolk Day quiz on Sunday 23rd June at 7:00pm. Costing £4 per person, you’ll be entered into the quiz and get a bowl of chilli to enjoy during the break. So, why not start brushing up on your Suffolk knowledge and get your team together today.

Here at Isaacs, we’re excited to announce that film night is coming to Isaacs, and we will be showing the fantastic Bohemian Rhapsody across our HD screens in the Isaacs Courtyard.
Taking place Friday 7th June, at dusk, it’s the perfect way to kick start your weekend. So, whether your a Queen fan or simply love watching movies why not join us for our first film night. Entry is free; we won’t charge you to come and watch it with us.
No tickets required, over 18’s only. The film will start around 8:30pm, however, make sure you turn up with plenty of time to secure a spot.
If you love a quiz and love being outside, you won’t want to miss our Big Fat Summer Quiz, taking place in the Isaacs Courtyard on Wednesday 12th June at 7:00pm.
The quiz will test your knowledge on all things current and costs £4.00 per person to enter, with a maximum of five to a team. So, why not start getting your team together now for your chance to win our cash prize.
Our food menu will be running until 9:00pm so you can grab a bite to eat while at the quiz too, plus we will also be serving cocktail pitchers for just £15.00 all evening.

Oktoberfest is coming to Isaacs.
And we can’t wait. Join us over the weekend of 21st – 22nd September for our first ever Oktoberfest. We’ve got a great weekend lined up that you won’t want to miss it.
There will be an outside bar serving traditional German beer in steins, a German themed BBQ running alongside our main menu, plus a live Oompah band playing between 2:00pm and 7:00pm both days – and the great thing is, entry is free. But that’s not all, we will, of course, have some German themed decorations throughout and while you don’t have to be dressed in a traditional Bavarian outfit to attend if you have one why not get it out and immerse yourself into our Oktoberfest celebrations.
It’s all set to be a great weekend.

Cancelled – Curry, quiz and raffle – Friday 10th May 2019
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to announce we will be cancelling our Elmer curry, quiz and raffle due to take place this Friday 10th May in Venue 77.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we hope to be able to bring you another Elmer quiz in the near future.
We will still be holding our Elmer cake sale in the Isaacs Coffee Tavern on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May, so do make sure you stop by and purchase some homemade cake and savoury items. All money raised will be donated to St Elizabeth Hospice.
Father’s Day at Isaacs – Sunday 16th June 2019
Join us at Isaacs this Father’s Day, Sunday 16th June 2019 and treat your dad to lunch or dinner. For just £12.50 you’ll be able to get a burger from our main menu and a pint of Amstel for just £12.50.
Plus, we’ll also have live music from Soul’d out at 3:00pm. Soul’d Out is a disco, Motown and 80’s dancefloor cover band, with hits from Wham! Stevie Wonder and Chic!
And of course, we will also be showing live sport.

Here at Isaacs we just love a St Patrick’s Day Celebration and this year is no different.
We’ll be serving a traditional Irish menu throughout the day, starting with breakfast at 7:00am. This will run alongside our main menu, so make sure you check out our specials board for details.
There will be Irish music playing, and of course, we will have live music too. Joining us at 3:00pm will be The Shamrock Brothers and instead of The Blarney Rovers at 7:00pm (who sadly can’t make it due to the lead singer having laryngitis) we will now be joined at 8:00pm by Jax & Co, a five-piece Johnny Cash tribute band.
Plus, we’ll also be running our ‘best St Patrick’s Day hat’ competition where the winner will receive a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey*. It costs just £1 to enter, with all monies being donated to St Elizabeth Hospice. The competition will run throughout our live music, and the Isaacs manager will choose the winner. So, why not dig out your St Patrick’s Day hat, buy a new one, or even make your own! If you would like to take part, please pay your donation in the Isaacs Coffee Tavern, you’ll be asked a few details and given a raffle ticket.
