6 nations rugbyWell it’s that time of year again when the Rugby playing European nations do battle in the RBS Six Nations.  We will be showing all the matches on our big screens and selling a beer brewed especially for the championship, food will be available throughout the games.

After England’s defeat in the Rugby World Cup in 2015, they appointed Eddie Jones as their coach and have now gone unbeaten in all tests, this includes the RBS Six Nations Grand Slam in 2016.

The 2017 RBS Six Nations is shaping up to be a tough tournament with England and Ireland the favourites to win.

The tournament kicks off on the 4th February with Scotland taking on Ireland at Murrayfield followed by England vs France at Twickenham.  The first weekend finishes off on the Sunday with Italy taking on Wales in Rome.

Predictions for Round 1 are wins for Ireland, England and Wales.

Round 2 has games between Italy at home to Ireland, Wales at home to England and France at home to Scotland.

Predictions for Round 2 are wins for Ireland, England and France

Round 3 predictions are wins for Wales, Ireland and England

Round 4 predictions are wins for Ireland, France and England

Round 5 is a special weekend at Isaacs as it is St Patricks Weekend, with music and a very special beer from Briarbank available.

If our predictions are right the Grand Slam will be up for grabs between what we are all seeing as the game of the round between Ireland and England you of course can watch all the games at Isaacs, however if there is one game you must come and watch it would be this one it kicks off at 5pm but come here early enjoy a drink or two and bit to eat and cheer on the two team.

Our final predictions are Scotland win against Italy, Wales win in Paris and our head says England will win in Dublin but our heart is with an Irish win and Grand Slam.
