Tuesday Steak Nights at Isaacs

Visit Isaacs on a Tuesday, and you can enjoy our Tuesday Steak Nights, where you can get two 12oz steaks and two drinks for just £25.00*.

The offer is available as soon as our main menu starts, from 11:30am till 9:00pm.

So, why not make Tuesday’s the night to enjoy a steak on the waterfront. The steak is the 12oz Rump Steak from our main menu, which is served with rustic fries, grilled mushrooms, tomato and a dressed house salad.

*The drink includes either a 175ml house wine, a pint of Amstel, Fosters, Cloudy Apple or a large soft drink.

Curry, quiz and raffle – Friday 10th May 2019

We had such a great time at our last curry and quiz night that we’ve decided to do another one. This time, the quiz will test your music and sports knowledge, and we’re excited to announce we’ve got the fantastic Stephen Foster as our quiz master.

Taking place on Friday 10th May, it costs £10 per person, which includes entry into the quiz and a curry. And as sponsors of Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk all monies raised will be donated to St Elizabeth Hospice.

We will also have some great raffle prizes on offer too, so make sure you bring some extra change with you.

Father’s Day at Isaacs – Sunday 16th June 2019

Join us at Isaacs this Father’s Day, Sunday 16th June 2019 and treat your dad to lunch or dinner. For just £12.50 you’ll be able to get a burger from our main menu and a pint of Amstel for just £12.50.

Plus, we’ll also have live music from Soul’d out at 3:00pm. Soul’d Out is a disco, Motown and 80’s dancefloor cover band, with hits from Wham! Stevie Wonder and Chic!

And of course, we will also be showing live sport.

St Patrick’s Day at Isaacs 2019

Here at Isaacs we just love a St Patrick’s Day Celebration and this year is no different.

We’ll be serving a traditional Irish menu throughout the day, starting with breakfast at 7:00am. This will run alongside our main menu, so make sure you check out our specials board for details.

There will be Irish music playing, and of course, we will have live music too. Joining us at 3:00pm will be The Shamrock Brothers and instead of The Blarney Rovers at 7:00pm (who sadly can’t make it due to the lead singer having laryngitis) we will now be joined at 8:00pm by Jax & Co, a five-piece Johnny Cash tribute band.

Plus, we’ll also be running our ‘best St Patrick’s Day hat’ competition where the winner will receive a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey*. It costs just £1 to enter, with all monies being donated to St Elizabeth Hospice. The competition will run throughout our live music, and the Isaacs manager will choose the winner. So, why not dig out your St Patrick’s Day hat, buy a new one, or even make your own! If you would like to take part, please pay your donation in the Isaacs Coffee Tavern, you’ll be asked a few details and given a raffle ticket. The winner will be announced after the live music has ended. Good luck!

New Year’s Eve 2018 at Isaacs

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve – why not come down to Isaacs and celebrate with us? We love a celebration, and this year we’ve got our New Year’s Eve Masquerade. Entry is free, we won’t charge you to come and celebrate with us. There will be a live DJ from 8:00pm till late, playing some great tunes to get you up dancing, plus, we will also have a bagpiper at midnight – what better way is there to see in 2019?

We will be open from 7:30am for breakfast till late, so whether Isaacs forms part of your celebrations or you spend the entire night with us, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to Isaacs and celebrating with you.

Meet Santa and his reindeers

Here at Isaacs, we’re excited to announce that on Sunday 23 December 2018, Santa and his reindeers will be with us for the afternoon.

Join us between 1:00pm – 4:45pm for what’s set to be a magical afternoon. There will be Christmas music playing throughout the day, and children’s entertainers, plus, you will, of course, get to meet Santa and his reindeers.

It costs just £2.00 per child, with all proceeds being donated to St Elizabeth Hospice.

We can’t wait and hope you can join us.

Halloween 2018 at Isaacs

The Isaacs plague – can you escape this Halloween?

Halloween is only a few weeks away, and we can’t wait. This year, the plague doctor will be at Isaacs throughout the weekend of 26 – 28 October.

 Donning his beaked mask, the plague doctor will be taking groups on a scary tour through our spine-chilling maze – can you escape? With performance actors throughout and various frights, it’s set to be a thrilling weekend.

Tours will be taking place from Friday 26 October – Sunday 28 October, between 8.00pm – 11.00pm. It costs just £2.00 per person, with all proceeds being donated to St Elizabeth Hospice. No booking necessary, if you dare, just turn up and you’ll be met in the secret garden to begin your tour.

Now we know the small print isn’t the most interesting, but here are some key facts we’d urge you to read:

• The tours are taking place on Friday 26th October, Saturday 27th October and Sunday 28th October, between the hours of 8.00pm and 11.00pm

• It costs just £2 per person, with all proceeds being donated to St Elizabeth Hospice

• Over 18’s only

• Each group will contain a maximum of eight people

• Throughout the tour you will be met by performance actors and encounter various frights, therefore, for this reason, it’s advisable anyone who is pregnant or has a heart condition do not attend.

• There will be the use of different lighting effects – please ensure you read the warning signs throughout the building

• And finally, we hope you have a spookily thrilling time.

This is just one of a series of fundraising events being arranged by Isaacs on the Quay as a sponsor of Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk 2019 and as part of the Early Herd Pledge to raise £3,500 for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Heritage Open Day 16 September 2018

Heritage Open Days – Sunday 16th September 2018

We’re excited to say Isaacs on the Quay is taking part in this year’s Heritage Open Days. On Sunday 16th September we will be opening the doors to our fully restored corn-dressing machinery room, giving you the chance to see it in action – something which isn’t usually open.

Don’t miss out on seeing this and learning more about our Grade I and Grade II* listed buildings. As you walk through Isaacs, you’ll notice many original, historical features throughout, with each room having its own story.

We hope you can join us and find out more about our historic building.

When: Sunday 16th September

Times: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm

Where: Isaacs on the Quay. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your tour. You will be met by your tour guide in the Isaacs Griddle area, on the ground floor of Isaacs.

A Great Curry Night in Ipswich

If you love a quiz, you won’t want to miss this. As sponsors of Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk, which is due to take place in the summer of 2019, Isaacs on the Quay and Ipswich Buses have joined forces to bring you a curry, quiz and raffle.

Taking place on Friday 21st September, at our sister venue, Venue 77, it’s set to be a great night, designed to test your knowledge, while having fun, and of course, raising money for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Entry into the quiz costs £10 per person, which also includes your curry and you can enter a team of up to eight people. Don’t worry if you can’t get eight people together though; we will be putting smaller teams together.
